St. John's Kindergarten

Welcome to St. John's Kindergarten program, established in 1946! Children in this program benefit from an excellent educational experience suported by Christian values and teaching.

This hands-on, accelerated learning environment, with a four year-old pre-kindergarten and a five year-old kindergarten, is located in the St. John's Educational Building on the lower level. Our program is a quality, part-time learning experience. Students graduating from our programs have essential skills that promote success in public, private, and parochial schools.

ELIGIBILITY: Pre-Kindergarten children must be four years of age on or before October 16. Kindergarten children must be five years of age on or before October 16.

REGISTRATION: Parents may register their child by calling the Kindergarten. Your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted in January, prior to the fall school year in which your child is eligible for enrollment.

CURRICULUM: Each teacher is certified and the curriculum follows the NC Standard Course of Study for Kindergarten and the NC Early Childhood Guide for Pre-Kindergarten.
