“Is there more to life than this?”

The Alpha Course answers this and many other questions of faith. It’s a great place to start!
Alpha will be offered beginning September 14, 2011.

Many folks continue to wrestle with some of the very basic questions of faith: What is the point of life? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today? What happens after death?

The Alpha Course gives you the chance to ask those questions … and then provides thought-provoking responses in a relaxed, non-threatening, low-key, fun way. Seriously. No question is too simple or too hostile. None!

Many folks at St John’s have been blessed by The Alpha Course. In fact, 8 million folks around the world have been blessed by Alpha! Here’s what you can expect:

·   We’ll meet for eight Wednesdays, 5:45-8:15.
You gotta eat … so we’ll start with a meal in the St John’s library
·   After the meal the topic will be introduced on video by a wonderfully-dynamic presenter, Nicky Gumbel of London.
·   Following the presentation we’ll divide into small groups to explore the topics in greater depth.
·   Need child care? Provided!
