Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School is a place where kids learn about Jesus! In the fall of 2010, Children's Sunday School will begin a rotational format, much like Vacation Bible School. Children ages 3 through 5th grade will learn Bible stories by rotating through different stations: art, skills and games, computer lab, creative drama, music, science, video and cooking. We are looking forward to an exciting Sunday School year and to your family being part of learning about God! Classes are located in the lower level of the Education Building by the playground; students will begin in Room 104, just off the playground. Come and visit any Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Rally Day is Sunday, September 12 at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall. All students and families will meet there for an opening and introduction to the program. Then the children and their teachers (parents are welcome too) will depart for the Sunday School stations. Adult class members and leaders will remain in the Fellowship Hall for an overview of our Adult Sunday School offerings this fall. Join us!

WeekdayChurchSchool (WDCS)

A dynamic children’s program called Weekday Church School takes place on Wednesdays from September through Easter. Over seventy kids from Kindergarten through grade five gather from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for bible stories, crafts, music, snacks, and games! During these weekly meetings, children pack gifts for soldiers, create cards for the sick, sing, practice for the Christmas pageant / program, and learn about Jesus! WDCS meets in the center and classrooms by the playground in the lower level of the Education Building. WDCS 2010-11 will run September 15, 2010 through April 13, 2011. VacationBibleSchool (VBS)

2009 Vacation Bible School St. John’s has one of the best VBS programs in Salisbury! This growing ministry reaches out into the neighborhoods, schools, and communities to share the love of Christ with others. VBS 2011 is scheduled for the week of June 27-July 1, 2011.
